Our chapter held our 16th annual All Swedish Car Show on June 8th.
The seed for this event was planted and then cultivated by fellow club member Gary Ramstad.
Lunch time found us upstairs at the third floor dinning room enjoying a bite to eat along with a glass of Carlsberg beer. Outdoor seating offered us a great view of the Seattle skyline and Lake Union, we could keep an eye on our cars in the parking lot directly below us.
Honoring Swedish engineering and timeless automotive design, we saw Saabs and Volvos owners come together for this premier event.
Our judges struggled to come up with a winner with so many wonderfully restored Volvos. At the end of the day Corey Fujita when home with the Best in Show award for his fine looking Amazon 122.
His car has been in his family for decades and he has excelled at keeping it looking and running beautifully.
