These Spring Swap Meets are always a fun way to spend a Sunday. Walking through the collection of classic Volvos while seeing friends you haven’t seen for a while. Locating a difficult to find part that someone is willing to sell. As the first club event in 2025 we shared ideas about upcoming car shows, the May 17th parade, and other gatherings in the months ahead.
With our Swap Meet falling on a Sunday, it was a chance to see club members who work during the week and can’t always make it to our weekday Volvo GT Meetings. Our friend Codey Fujita
is one such member who came with his beautifully restored 122 Amazon. He also brought a handful of Volvo parts to find a new home for. His Volvo won the Best in Show Award at last year’s club sponsored car show held at the Seattle Swedish Club.
We welcomed a number of Volvo owners who aren’t PSVSA club members – as these events are open to the general public. We all share the same passion for these classic Swedish made automobiles. You discover that vintage Volvo owners are very often the most interesting people.
